Ernest Hemingway House

Located at 907 Whitehead Street, Key West, Florida, this Spanish Colonial house was Papa Hemingway's place of residence from 1931-1939. The house was a wedding gift to Hemingway and his 2nd wife Pauline Pfeiffer from her Uncle. It was from this residence that some of his most noted manuscripts were written, "A Farewell To Arms" and "The Snows of Kilimanjaro" to name a few.
Just a little tidbit about the house, it was used in a James Bond film "License To Kill" in 1988.

  2. Looks like a real nice 'winter home' for sure. It also pays to marry a rich woman. :-)
